I don’t know about you but I love to use Firefox rather than good old Internet Exploder [sic]. I’ve just come across a tip provided by Jason M. Hanley that will save me valuable seconds each day - and I’ve managed to speed it up some more too!
We all have our habits when opening up browsers and yours truly is no different. If you don’t want to go through the rigmarole of opening up multiple windows or tabs every single time, here’s what you need to do:
1. Create a new folder on your toolbar (Right click, “New Folder…”).
2. Add the pages you want to startup to it (bookmark them or drag and drop them from your existing bookmarks.
3. Select Tools -> Options… -> General -> Use Bookmark - Now select the new folder (I called mine Startup rather originally
4. Save it and next time you start up Firefox, your favourite sites will instantly be loaded.
Nice one Jason!
All the best,
Tom
